Group Fundraisers

The world is smaller than we realize! Your giving goes to the people who need it the most. It gives you an opportunity to be apart of the work that God is doing among impoverished communities around the world through the hands of local staff, volunteers, interns, and donors like you!

1. Get a team together to help you.

Pick which branch and program resonates with your team. Share information from those pages and brochures on our website with your team. See if other organizations would like to join you in the event.

2. Research what time of year is best for those likely to attend.

Events can be as diverse as you are – incorporating music, food, art, dance, sports, anything. Contact us for a pdf of fundraising event ideas if you need help!

3. Prepare to fundraise

Contact us to set up a peer-to-peer fundraising campaign for you free on Zeffy. Use Canva to make free flyers to print and for social media with info as well as QR codes to our donation links for people to have the option to give online if unable to attend.

4. Document your hard work

The day of the event, take photos and videos to share online along with donation information for those who may have missed the event.

5. Share your success

Once everything is done, be sure to let attendees and donors know the amount raised and impact of their giving.

From this experience, I really learned how God can use me to make a difference in peoples’ lives. I remember before when I was planning this, I was really doubting myself. I had never planned a benefit concert before. I had never planned anything like this. I thought, “I don’t know how I’m going to do this”. But I put my trust in God and realized this was my opportunity… to help people less fortunate than me.

So I decided to trust God and the outcome was amazing. I never thought we’d get such a huge show out for the show! God can use us all in different ways, we just have to make ourselves available to Him. I’m just a regular student just going after my degree, trying to seek God. You can accomplish a lot! We are making a difference in these kids’ lives and in the orphanage and I never thought I would be able to do something like that. So, don’t doubt yourself and put your trust in God!”
